I’m a designer with a love and curiosity for clothes and how they’re made.

I’m endlessly inspired by old garments and vintage pieces, the imperfect details you find when you look closely: hand repairs, worn fabrics, stains, patches and stitches. I love moving between masculine and feminine, Victorian lace undergarments, antique herringbone ribbons, hand embroidery back with vintage sportswear, workwear and denim. It’s the unexpected contrast between these worlds that often sparks an idea.

Over 10 years in fashion, I’ve developed a strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication and product development. I’m a practical, hands-on designer and I love using that knowledge as part of my creativity. To me, design is as much about creative problem-solving as it is about aesthetics.

I believe every piece in a collection needs a reason to be there. Sometimes that reason is simply because it’s beautiful; sometimes it’s solving a practical need, keeping someone warm or dry. The best collections find that balance between creativity, purpose and the person wearing them.

I love the collaborative nature of design. When a team is really clicking, ideas bouncing back and forth, everyone contributing, feeling empowered and excited to create. For me, that’s when the really good stuff happens.
